Default 3m double sided tape in engine bay

Pretty stupid question, but im trying to figure out what im going to use to attach my vacuum manifold and my catch can to my car, and I was thinking about using that 3m double sided tape to stick it to the firewall.

Think it would work or would the stuff just turn into goo and melt away? Cars turbocharged so under hood temps are a little hotter

I've used both and they work great. Make sure you clean the area good before you stick it on.
