Default Stock GSR 2" header with 2.5 exhaust ?

I have a GSR engine with the stock header. The header is 2" and im planning of adding 2.5 piping all the way back. Im getting a resonator and a backbox.

Will the sound be ok?
Will the combination of 2" to 2.5" give a raspy sound ?
Will one big resonator be enough or do i need a backbox at all?

why do you want 2.5? what do you have done? you're probably better off with 2.25 or 60mm.

I have a 1997 gsr with a dc header and a greddy evo and I love it. The evo has a good clean sound with good flow and is not obnoxiously loud.

if all you want is sound, why not just pick up an axle back?

i think 2.5 will not fit on ur stock parts..unless with bottleneck ..go with all 2.5,,cheap mode..Megan header..test pipe..any 2.5 exhaust u want

2.25 is good up tp about 200whp..if u have less than that and 2.5 piping. u actually will lose some power
