I'm thinking of swaping a k20 into my eg hatch and I want to know what the diffrence is between all those engines. Any links that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

k20a = 220hp.

k20z1 = 210hp

k20a2 = 200hp

k20a3 = 160hp

They all share the same block. Differences lie in cams, head, compression, etc.

oh god not another one of these

K20A (JDM Integra typeR) 11.5:1 compression, more free flowing IM and header than K20A2. makes 220hp

K20Z1 (2005 RSX typeS) 11.0:1 compression. uses new cams and new intake manifold and new ecu. makes 210hp

K20A2 (2002-2004 RSX typeS) 11.0:1 compression, more free flowing IM and header than the K20A3. makes 200hp

K20A3 version 1(base RSX) 9.0:1 compression, two stage intake manifold, uses iVTEC-E (e for economy) makes 160hp

K20A3 version 2(Civic SI) 9.0:1 compression, uses the K20A2 IM, , uses iVTEC-E (e for economy) makes 160hp

as for trannies.

K20A tranny. 4.764 FD, has a LSD
K20A2 tranny. 4.389 FD, no LSD
K20Z1 tranny, 4.764 FD, no LSD
K20A3 tranny, only 5 spd, no LSD

ECU's.

Thanks for the info guys. It really helped. I'll continue researching myself but if anyone can help out more it'd be great. I'll read up more on that k20a, that's the one I'm interested in.
