Recommended Aid For Old Ass Tranny?
Hey,
I'll be draining the tranny fluid tomorrow and was wondering if there was some sort of an additive that you would recommend that would prolong the life of the tranny. Mine has 250,000miles on it and it grinds in 2nd.
Thanks.

GM Synchromesh tranny fluid is pretty good stuff, I use it on my old tranny and it works well
there are a alot on threads on this, do a search b/c there are a couple versions of stuff and I don't remember what the difference is between the two

True...synchromesh will take care of minor grinds, but it isn't a miracle cure
