94-95 accord sohc vtec 2.2 into 92 dx hatch?
i have a few questions about swapping in a 94-95 honda accord ex sohc motor into my civic dx hatch. i have included a pic of the motor so there is no confusion. first...
what mounts would i use? h22 mounts?
would i be able to wire the motor to my stock harness? i will have a shop do it.
which axles should i use? i will be going turbo at about 7psi, should i get a stage 2 axel set?
which shift linkage should i use? does it have to be modded?
also, would i save myself a lot of trouble using a the non vtec from the 94-95 accord lx since i wouldn't have to wire up vtec or should i get the vtec?
thanks for any help!

You'll need to wire in VTEC. You'll need the OBD-1 ECU if the F22B1 is from 1994 or 1995 or the OBD-2 ECU if the F22B1 is 1996 or 1997. Mounts are from the H22 into a Civic platform. Axles are from the H22 into a Civic platform (which are hybrid). Shift linkage is from the H22 into a Civic platform.

im with this guy, if your gonna do all that work then might as well drop an H22 in there

i don't think it will be too hard, as long as i get the right stuff. maybe i'll get hasport h22 mounts, hasport h22 axels, have a shop do the wiring. soon after that i plan to turbo it and run like 8 lbs. i should be putting down some decent numbers no? if i do a nice custom turbo kit with a t3-t4, 2.5 inch piping with an apex turbo muffler. 2.5 inch intercooler piping etc. i'm hoping for like 210 hp at the wheels? is that about right with a good tune?

Dude like they said above if you're doing all that you should just do an H22, you could get pretty much the same horsepower without the turbo if you did an H22 with relatively mild mods

it really is a whole lot harder and more expensive than the b18b. i would def do an ls or gsr swap b4 a f22.... ur gunna have to spend a ton of extra money on the mounts and axles as well as do some modification (cutting a hole in the floor) for the shift linkage. its not worth the hassle for the f22.
sounds like way to much of a hassle to me. i agree with the others about either swappin the h22 or a b18b. b18b with boost will be easier, more powerful and reliable than the f22 with boost at 7lbs.
