I just bought an EG6 sirII cluster and the fuel gauge stays full at all times. I've tried switching gauges back and forth with the dx one and I know I have near an empty tank. When installing the cluster, it would stay at full and never go to near empty like the old one. I'm pretty sure that the gauge is done for and I probably need another cluster, but have anyone been able to fix this or is buying another one my only option?
yeah im having the same problem except i swapped in an ex cluster. For some reason when the car is on it moves all the way up to full, i took the plastic covering over the cluster off and i moved the needle down but for some odd reason the needle just keeps moving to the full position, everything else works fine. when i first put the cluster in the fuel needle moved to the right position but a couple minutes later it moved right back to the full position. anyone else have this problem, or have a way to fix it without having to buy another one, please post.
