H22 not making power help?!?!
So i dynoed my car today and it made 144whp and 110ft/lbs...
I have a '97 usdm H22a4 with 70k swapped into an EK hatch
Mods:
-Hasport motor mounts
-Short ram intake
-5zigen catback w/o cat
-Mugen 4-2-1 header
-MSD ignition
-NGK plugs
-AEM fuel rail
-AEM frp
-AEM Cam gears
-RC 360cc injectors
-OBD2 into OBD1 harness
-Skunk2 chipped p28
-VAFC
The timing sounds fine, and the fuel has been properly tuned and leaned out using a dyno. cylinder compression is fine and there are no obvious problems. car runs very smoothly, It simply is not making the power it's supposed to. Any ideas about what the problem is??? thanks

Yeah I was there when they dyno/tuned it. VTEC works great, he originally dynoed at 132 right before they tuned it, so they manage to squeeze out 12WHP just for tuning the fuel, on a side not, the intake he has is a ghetto home made short ram and the pipe is very small, but that wont make the 20-30 WHP that this car is missing, im guessing it might be the skunk2 p28 ECU?
we are gonna try borrowing a p13 ecu from a friend and running that, and getting a bigger/better intake, see if anything changes, getting alot of feedback saying it might be the ECU/timing

Would someone like to explain to me why these parts are random? Is it just because the stock rail, injectors, etc are sufficient for NA sub 200 whp?
...Flame suit on!!!

The stock rail and injectors flow way more than what he needs, and having both an adjustable fpr and a VAFC is redundant, as they do essentially the same thing.

i always love when people get a chipped ecu and then tune on top of it.....what a waste of money......
way too many factors to f with here guys, get some stock stuff (fuel rail, fpr, injectors) and tune it with that, they are WAY MORE than sufficient for your setup.....
also where in raleigh are you, there are no fast h22s around as of yet, maybe you can see against my prelude if your dyno is just crap......try the car against some sort of real comparison(race someone or 1/4 mile).....l.
