m2b4 transmission info
yes it is the lsd tranny, once in a while you find one around here, just search h22 tranny and sometimes theres one or 2 in there. it does replace the stock tranny but for some odd reason the housing had an xtra bolt hole on the very bottom when i swapped mine out. no big deal really, if it gets warmer i could take a picture for ya but i dont think it hurts anything, ive had it on there since aug and no problems whatsoever.

you could give steve a call at hmotorsonline,
he might be able to hook you up.

Yea mine came from Hmotorsonline. I like it alot. But i think that if i could do it again i would buy a quaife for the car and keep the stock tranny.

For H22A in a Civic people, they have to get slightly shorter axles because the housing is a little wider.

you will want a pro to install the quaife unless your mechanical ability surpasses your searching abilites.....
dont waste your money on the quaife, its a lot more money for not much more performance....

not much more performance compared to what? a m2b4? or an open diff? the honda OEM helical is decent, but i'd rather have a quaife and a lifetime warranty. compared to an open diff there is no comparison.
if the tranny is loose, you should be able to find someone to install it for about $200 bucks. it's complicated in there but if the person knows what they're doing and has the right tools, it's not too time consuming. doing it yourself can be kind of intimidating. you have to preload and shim the diff correctly, and getting the ring gear off can be difficult.
