Once the Vtec hits, this gray smoke comes out the exhaust. Don't exactly know what it is. Any info would be great.

 

Black smoke is running rich, burning oil. Happens to me and a lot of others in VTEC as well. Nasty smell could be your cat is shot. Smells rotten.

 

black = rich
blue = oil
white = water

 

When you floor a car, you will usually get a puff of black or brown/tan smoke out the pipe (carbon and exhaust dust) and sometimes a rotten egg smell which comes from the initial switch to a richer fuel curve and some unburnt gas going into the catalytic converter.

I think just about every Honda does that when you get into VTEC. My car looks like it's putting out a smoke screen when full boost rolls on in first and second gear.
