Uprated shocks for '95 Prelude vtec
Hi there
I need some assistance in deciding what 'uprated' shocks I would need for my '95 Prelude vtec. I currently have Spax springs, and the standard Honda shocks.
I also have the problem with the rattling rear end, and even though my local Honda garage, great as they are, couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from, and nothing is obviously wrong, so this gave me the idea of upgrading the shocks as a starter.
I'm in the UK by the way.
Any ideas?
Cheers, Andrew

your gonna have trouble finding a shock that lowers the ride height of the car...
the springs determine where the car sits, the shock just dampens their movement.....so if you want lower, you will need different springs....
try the Tein Street Springs, i like the way a car sits on those, and they ride great....

I didn't word the paragraph about the ride height properly. I know that the springs set the ride height, but I'm just hoping to uprate the shocks. I've removed the offending para!
Thanks

Koni yellows are the best aftermarket shocks for our cars. also, they have service centers in europe since they are based in the EU. kinda pricey compared to other shocks, but they are the best performing, most comfortable, and highest quality OTS shock you'll find.
also they come with 3 (or 5 on the neuspeed version) different ride height settings so if you wanted to you, you could raise or lower the car using the shock.
