Default CX header exhaust vs chikara header and kteller exhaust

The Cx manifold is the worst I have ever seen.
Here are a few pics. The kteller exhaust fit perfect. I posted the header pic because nobody has love for the cx so there are no pics of the crappy stock header.

I'm planning on doing a jdm d15b swap when the weather gets nice. The reason I bought the exhaust is because the stock muffler was rusted through and I needed to replace it. I originally had the muffler attached to the stock piping put it broke farther down as you can see in the pics. I figured I could use the same exhaust after I get the motor swap. The reason I got the header is because the downpipe on the cx doesn't line up with after market exhausts and I can also use it after the swap. The reason I posted this is because A I posted bitching about how long it took for the kteller exhaust to come, but when it came it was nicer then expected so I thought I would show him some love. B There is not much info on the cx on here so I thought I'd throw some pics up. And yes even with the crap motor and crap gearing the car has a fair ammount more power, a nice sound with or without the silencer, and a lot better throttle reponse. And for the hell of it and because it has never been done before I will dyno it at elite autosports and see what she has. My guess is about 60 whp.

I honestly never thought that you'd feel ANY improvement with upgrades to the CX motor. Guess I was wrong...

The CX is not a bad motor, its just a bad transmission.

Slap an EX tranny and some bolt ons, and its not that bad. One of these days maybe i'll take a d15B8 and turbo it just for the hell of it.

I'll post the dyno results when I get them. My friend is also going to dyno his 85 golf 1.8 8v. He's the only competition I have around, and he beat me both times we have raced. I wanted to by the si tranny, I had it all lined up and it fell through at the last second so I'm stuck with the long gearing for now. I shouldn't call the motor crap your right, it averages 38mpg and has been reliable for 110,000 miles without a problem, it's just soooo slow with the tranny. Yes that is a 2g dsm lower intercooler pipe attached to a k&N "ghetto mod" No I didn't steal it I've had a GSX and a GS-T.
