vtec sohc head... how can you tell?

vtec sohc head... non-vtec...how can you tell?

I did a search and couldn't find an answer to my question.
I know that this is sohc. How can you tell if this is a vtec head...?

I've been told that vtec heads' spark plugs are toward the front and non-vtec heads' spark plugs are toward the back of the motor.

From the pic, it looks like a VTEC head. That green plug is the VTEC solenoid.

Yeah it looks like it has to be a VTEC head since it has the solenoid.

Look for a P08 (or P2P? not sure what d16y8 is) stamp on the exhaust side

It is a VTEC head, has the solenoid on the back.

D16Y8 is P2P.
