What are the effects of retarded timing?? (Already searched)
Retarded ignition timing will cause a noticeable loss in power across the powerband, as well as hotter exhaust temps.
Retarded cam timing (skipped a tooth) will have a low, bad idle and a loss of power, and possible backfiring. And horrible gas mileage.
