Whats the generarl price in parts when building your own manifold...just simply a log style...

 

if it's stainless roughly 140$ maybe a lil less if you shop around on the flanges.
i know mild steel is alot less but i never actually priced it out

 

ok cool, anyone else out there know maybe some places where to buy flanges, i looked at exploited racing

what about ram horn style? how many bends do I neeed? thanks guys I just cant afford to order to many. and also what bends?

 

This is not my mani ( I forgot whose it is.......Shitbird I think) but from what i could see it was (14) 90 degree and (2) 45's.

 

what size pipeing? and what size collecter?

 

When I made my log mani I used 1 1/2" weld els so I'm assuming it's the same.

Take a look at this hopefully the pics still work cause that site was having some problems.

i bought 3 90s 2 tees from a plumbing store the 90s were 9 bucks the tees were like 14 so 55 bucks for that
then i made all my own flanges and welded it myself
so i pretty much made mine for 55 dollars since i work at a shop and the steel and weld rod was free

where exactly did you get the tees and 90s? are they stainless?

 

i just ordered all my parts for my log manifold and it came too just over $100. 60 for piping( the "t's" cost the most), 22 for head flange, and 25 for compressor flange.

For that much I think you should have make a ramhorn style mani, 14 Ls come up to be 69$, that's only 9$ more of what you paid for the piping.

where do you get your Ls?

update - Looks like user mbpwrx can beat Mcmaster Carr prices on weld Els. I'm gonna give him a try soon and see what he can do for me.
