Default Where does this piece go?

I found this piece lying on the floor of my 96 accord's trunk. I believe it fell from the top where the speakers are. To note, in the trunk I have a 12 inch sub in a box and two pioneer 6x9s mounted in the top. The only reason I mention this is because I think the sub and or other speakers may have rattled it loose.

Looks like one of those things that the cargo net attaches to? if it is, then it goes on the sides of the trunk?

Any clue as where abouts it would go. I looked all around the trunk but couldnt find anything. I was trying to find the matching one but nothing.

yeah I'm not sure that a 96 would have the cargo net.. but sure looks like the things that hold the cargo net on the floor of my Civic. But on the Accords it mounted on the sides of the trunk, ,you would see a hole in the trunk liner. If that is what it is. Again I'm not 100% sure.

Also it could have been something that fell off of something that was in the trunk?

That's exactly what it looks like! the end of a power adapater for say a cell phone charger or a power inverter or something like that. Good call!

especially since it has a spring in there, I thougth those were threads at first, but if it's a spring then it's definitly a power adpater end you know how it's springy the part that touches the bottom of the lighter outlet.
