Default DIY Blackhousings

Quick question (and yes I searched) what paint is recommended for a DIY Blackhousing job? Also, Flat or gloss?

i used dupli-color black gloss engine enamel paint. it has protection up to 500 degress. i had it for months now.. and it still looks great..

does anyone know if you can do a similar job on tailights also? i have a 95 ex 4dr and was thinking it would be cool to darken them up to kinda look like the vw gti tail lights. anyone tried this before?

u could probably spray one or two coats of transparent tint spray to give the tail lights a smoked look.

also, i did my diy headlights with duplicolor gunmetal, no signs of wear after a year.
