Default installing a really really loud air horn in my civic lx

i have an 88 civic lx beater. I bought an airhorn today from Advance Auto Parts, and Im looking for a good spot to mount it. Its really 2 horns hosed to an air pump. looks like the best spot is inside the from bumper cover somewhere, but i kinda wanted to mount the horns on the outside of the car. this is alittle hard, cuz the hose from the pump to the horns is less than a foot long. anyone done this?

I wouldn't reccomend installing these on the outside of the car, someone will tamper with them out of curiosity. I say try to put them on the inside of the front bumper, if there is ample space. So it also has a pump? You might be able to mount the pump in front of your radiator or maybe where the windshield wiper fluid goes.

i bought a Hella kit for like $35
i mounted the horns on the frame rail on the passenger side and bolted the pump to my air box

140dB coming from a civic is a great way to get some ones attention

I mounted the pump on the radiator support behind the driver headlamp and the horns on a metal brace in the hole right behind the headlamp goin down to the washer bottle. They make a huge difference when you need to tell some jackass to watch out R.E. they're F'in loud !!
