Hello, I am putting this 96-98 auto y8 manifold on my 2000 d16y7. I could not find this sensor on my y7 manifold. It has a single vacuum line sticking out of it. Where does this line go to?

BIG question. Do I really need this hooked up when I put it on my D16y7?

Also, what is it?

looks like an EGR valve, if the ecu you are using needs it, i would hook it up

 

that is an hx manifold

 

sure that is an HX manny? Is the HX manifold same flowing as the EX?

Anyone else know what it may be?

 

I swapped the mani on my y7 with a y8 and it looked nothing lke that. I only had one extra vacum nipple on the back of the mani.

 

damn i think i got screwed for an HX manifold than an EX one.

i know that the ex and hx manifolds look almost identical except for the egr valve. not sure about flow
