Default extreme wheel hop!

I am trying to help a friend who does not have a computer.

problem #1

As he tells it, he was driving on the freeway and all of the sudden had some extreme wheel hop. He made it home and found out that his lower driver side engine mount was completly shot. He then replaced it and the car still hops like crazy when he gives it any gas.

I asked him if the rear engine mount is also shot, he has not checked, he however mentioned that the brace going fromt he block to the mount is missing two of the lower screws So he is fixing the screws, but they had been missing. He is also getting engine mount inserts, and his lower control arm bushing is also messed up so he is getting another one.

Do you think this will fix the problem? Or can you think of anything else that could be causing the car jump a lot when he gives it the gas?

Then problem #2

His idle keeps raising and falling between 2,000 and 600rpms just abck and fourth. I told his to make sure he didn't have any air bubbles in his coolant and he did, still same problem. He replaced his TPS,and still does it. If he take the TPS off then it jumps to 2,000 and stays.

Any ideas?

Thanks for any help...

bad front lca bushings (where lca meets the chassis)
can cause excessive wheel hop.
try checking those out also

stock ls swap, so its not a torque problem

however his lower control arm bushing is shot, so hopefully that is the answer.

any other ideas?

and any ideas on problem #2?

For your second problem...check the IACV. Take it off and take the plate off...tighten the plastic insert until it is snug if it is loose. If it's not that, I'm not sure...my b16a has a warped head and it was going from 1000-3000 rpm... good luck.
