crx hf rear sway bar question
Since my car is an HF model it has no brackets for the sway bar to mount to. I have purchased the proper hardware but have been contemplating welding these "L" brackets into place. There is nowhere to bolt these brackets to like there is the Si models. Will welding these be suffefcient(sp?)? the car will be used in the echc h1 class
oh, my current suspension is simple. Koni yellows w/ eibach sportline springs, full poly bushings, brand new balljoints bearings etc.. i run a ls/vtec. not sure if this helps but if you need it there it is.
thank you for your help.

yup the holes were in both of the STD's I had, now the LCA are not drill but I think you can or a shop could drill and tap to make them work
are you trying to mount a factory Si bar or an aftermarket? the factory Si bar's holes are there and aftermarket bars usually use the factory tow hook's holes.
aftermarket, something near the 24mm size range. ok, yup, the holes are there but they are not threaded or anything. how do i reach up ion there to get a nut to thread into? i figured i'd just weld it and bolt it.
4dref describes how he acomplished this at the end of the thread.

btw, i dont think youre going to find anything over 22mm, and i wouldnt want anytihng more than 22mm.
i just put a 22mm mugen rear bar on my Si, damn, thats nice. stock fit, no binds, easy installation.

yeah, dpsycho definately did a better option than 4dref, not that 4dref was bad, but welding up new brackets from stock is definately the better way.
