My d16y8 OEM exhaust manifold is un-equal length, maybe try getting an adapter plate and put an OEM d-series header on your b16!?

But seriously, why would you want unequal length headers?

i'm gonna say that the reason the scooby sounds good is a combo of the turbo (if it has one), the higher displacement, and the box 4 motor. try using a decent exhaust and your b16 won't sound like a lawn mower.

The reason Subaru's have their growl is due to the use of an unequal length header. If you've ever heard a WRX with an equal length header, it sounds like every other car.

If you want your car to sound like a Subaru, then go buy a goddamned Subaru.
