First of all I posted here because I figured more Ef peeps would know about rebuilding the JDm S1/J1 trannies.

I know you cannot buy the stuff from any dealerships here, but I know someone was selling the rebuild kits for a reasonable price on here a while back.

Anyone have any contacts?

 

gearspeed.com have them. they also carbon coat the synchros for better high rpm shifting.

I bought all the s1 synchros from gearspeed for 215 buck....for all of them!! 3rd 4th and 5th are carbon coated too

It costs me as much as it costs me in parts - For you, I would say as much as the shop can pull over your butt!

Also, maybe you should just search the Google rather than revive a 6 year old thread that was pointless in the first place.
