Default quick question...part 2

I know i don't post much, but you guys seem to know your stuff.....again my situation is I blew my b18c1 and am in the process of buying a j-spec b18c5.

My questions are as followed:
1. Is a block able to be repaired if it is crcked? (have gotten dif answers from dif people so wanted your guys opinion) (I know that question should be in the gsr section, but i thought you guys would answer me quicker and more accurate)

2. Will the B18C1 clutch fit the B18C5.

Thank You in advance for your help!

FYI: I've seen USDM Type R motors selling four around $4,500.00 while the JDM Type R motors are still selling around the 5K+ mark. Also, when you buy the engine, you generally get the transmission to go with it. Out of pure and innocent curiousity, why do you want a JDM spec engine?

Aloha,
Brandon

My buddy bought the engine two years ago for $5500 and tried to put it into a crx, but he lost interest quick and decided he didn't want to do it.

He then tried to sell it to another kid and the kid couldn't come up with the money. So it has been sitting in his garage for about a year and a half.

So i thought i would take it off his hands. The transmission is crap he somehow messed up fourth gear. He is selling me the engine for $3200 so i couldn't pass it up.
