Idle on the car is going crazy... cant stand it anymore. =(
well, I have notice that since saturday night when I got home from spinning the car is been idling relly low... to the point that most of the time it shuts off. I have changed alot of stuff and still turns off... spark cables and plugs, air filter fuel filter and all that junk. Im not throwing a cel but the car idles better at night than in the morning or afternoon. If you let the car stand for a bit the idle get better and doesnt have a problem. what do you think it is? alternator? thanks for everyone that can help in the matter.
thanks
thanks

nop I havent touch anything... just started doing it when I was coming from work one day at night. and hasnt stop ever since. i wonder what it is...
and the idling before it dies flutuates... as i come to stop sometimes its at 100 or sometimes its at less then that and the whole cars starts to shake... but it i stay steady it will go up by it self. now if I press the gas it would go back to like 100 and sometimes shut downs. some other time if I turn my lights on it will go up... its weird.
Sometimes things will rattle loose.
With your car off. Twist the TB cam to WOT and you will see a little set screw with a nut on it. you will need a very small wrench and an allenwrench to adjust it.

the throttle body cam(probably not correct nomenclature) is where your throttle cable attaches to your throttle body. The gold round looking thingy.
The tps sensor is on the exact opposite side of the cam. You will need a multimeter to trouble shoot this.

my old car(ek hatch) had an identical problem. I put on a cold air and it was fixed. Im not saying thatll work for you..but it did for me.
Sounds like your engine is choking out, which is from lack of air. Theres probably a loose vaccum line or something of that sort. Just check to make sure everything is lined up.

actually makes sense! cause when its hot runs bad, when it cold it runs fine. usually thats the case when I drive at night,... no problem... when I drive in the morning and afternoon it sucks ***...
My problem wasnt with the air temp...it was with the intake pressure. Before i got my cold air, i had a very cheap ghetto rigged short ram, which couldnt get a good flow. The new cold air flowed better, and therefore the engine didn't choke out anymore.
Basically.....your engine isnt breathing right. It could be an intake sensor that's loose though, making your ecu think the cars not breathing.
Check your vaccum lines and intake sensors...and i bet youll be able to find your problem

I'd try the easy stuff first, may save you time and money. Get a can of carb cleaner and spray and wipe the throttle body and intake manifold. Could just be a bunch of junk in there.
