i have a b18b and i was rebuilding it using new gaskets well long story short i used a brand new headgasket and torqued the head to the block then later took the head off the block is it okay to reuse the headgasket the engine never ran but ive heard storys of the head gasket warping ..... oh and its a 3 layer metal gasket

itll be alright. id be more worried about the head studs.

yeah the headgasket should be fine, but you could spray some copper spray on there just incase of little dents.

and to arps

 

what does this copper sprqay look like or whats it called i need soe of that stuff. It just fills dents and **** in gaskets and beefs them up a bit?

it comes in a spray can. you can buy it at any parts store (advance auto etc.) it just fills in the little imperfections on the gasket. it doesn't beef it up or anything unless you spray a **** load on it but you shouldn't do that. your only suppose to spray 2 thin layers on eash side.
