alright i have a high compression motor...12:1 gsr...the car was starting up fine, until we did a compression test...after we did the test, the car wouldnt turn over(as if you were still doing the compression test)...then we finally got it to start up...but if you try to gas it, the car will hesitate and act as if it was misfiring and wants to die...if it idles for a bit, it starts to sound like it's misfiring...i have an msd sci setup with external coil...we checked the coil and it's giving alot of spark...but when we tested the spark plug wires, there would be little spark and sometimes no spark...we think it could just be the cap and rotor...but what do you honda-tech'ers think?

 

what kind of wires? try replace the inepxensive stuff first to see if the problem goes away

 

well i have msd 8.5mm wires and ngk plugs.

 

try getting some oem or ngk wires
