92 si, b18c1 obd1...

Timing is correct; both ignition and cam.
No vacuum leaks.
Coolant level is fine.
No codes.

My car idles around 300-400 rpm once it's warmed up...
UNLESS
I drive for about 30+ minutes on the highway or after an autocross, then it idles at the normal 700-800rpm.

I cleaned the IACV out awhile back and that didn't seem to do anything.

My only thought is the O2 sensor is old and tired, could that be it?

...and no I don't want to play with the idle screw on the throttle body, I want to fix the problem.

 

almost every honda ive ever driven in idles like that unless the lights are on, its just the way they are i guess

how is you thermostat and the housing i don't think its the o2 sensor and yeah its good idea not to touch the idle screw cause that's not your problem

 

thermostat is fine.

what about the housing?
