E-Brake Adjustment
Just Installed gsr brakes on all four corners on my 92 cx.........i noticed when i was taking the brakes off of the donor car ( 95 GSR ) that the left rear rotor spun but the right rear didn't .......... kinda made me think then he said that the ebrake was pulled
after installing on my car i realize that the driver side cable is about 1/2" longer than the passenger side cable hence why the driver side didn't lock up when the ebrake was pulled the cables have been properly secured along the bottom of the car and everything is correct so wondering is there is someway to take up the slack with the brakes in the rear

There's an auto-adjusting mechanism inside the calipers. Maybe that's messed up??
Make sure the handbrake lever on the caliper moves free. If that's sticky, then check whether it's a dirty/rusty cable vs. the internal mechanism itself.
You know how you twist the pistons in to make room for new pads? You can twist them in just enough to make room, but not too far. Otherwise when you install everything it takes a while for the adjuster to settle into place. Pull the handbrake or step on the brakes like 50 times...

also check the ebrake lever adjustment. first remove your center console, there is an equalizer just behind the lever and you should see a bolt that goes thru the equalizer and between the two cables. you may need to tighten the nut if there is any excessive slack in the cables when the brake handle is down. make sure that the pads are seated correctly first before making any adjustment. first raise and support the rear of the vehicle. pull the brake handle up until it clicks once. tighten the nut at the equalizer until there is a slight drag on the rear wheels. you may want someone to help you with this. after making the adjustment put the brake handle down again, put the rear end back on the ground, then pull the brake handle up and count how many times it clicks before the rear wheels are locked (you can't move the car). if this doesn't solve the problem you should start looking at the calipers and cables to make sure they are working properly. good luck.
