for the money they are damn good. they give u enough power to beat almost every new honda car coming out of the factory besides the s2000 and the acura nsx along with maybe one or two of their luxory cars

what motor do you have right now?

zc's are okay... i'd rather spend the money on a ls swap though.

b series = better

For the price you cant go wrong. I put a ZC in my 1990 Civic HB, they bolt right in and I sold the old motor for 300. The ZC links up the the civic trannys so you dont need new CV shafts. I sold the ZC tranny for 250. They are just about same power as the SOHC V-TEC. Its cost effective and puts out some good power easily modded

I had a LS swap before and my sohc zc on 5psi has a whole more power than my ls did. b-series are better for higher horsepower, but for the money a d-series is probably the most cost effective.
