Quick help: Screech UP or DOWN?

I"m trying to fix these brakes before it start raining in a minute...
so here:

Rear drivers side '97 GSR,
Is the Screech indicator suppose to be up TOP like here:

or down like here?

most likely up top...pads should say though "right side inner" etc. HTH

edit: for the one you're doing now (driverside) youd want left side inner...

they are the EBC Green Stuff pads... and they dont say anything on them...
