performance clutch wearing out clutch master cylinders?
i recently upgraded to an ACT Xtreme PP w/ SS disc, and immediately blew my master cylinder (the original one w/ 80K on it)... since the clutch is much stiffer, will this wear out the master cylinder quicker?
What do you mean blew? no pedal from fluid loss or did you have fluid and no pedal? Clutch masters and slaves are very susceptible to failure if you don't change the fluid Often.
well, the fluid is leaking all down behind my dash... clutch still works, but probably for not much longer...

You're going to have to replace it, not a major deal, but my guess is you never changed or cleaned the fluid out.
This should be done about every 50k miles. Fresh fluid keeps the seals nice and makes them last longer. Dirty fluid will contaminate seals and cause them to rupture.

You should really do it every 30k if not sooner (I do mine every oil change). Get a new clutch master from the dealer- and you might go ahead and replace the slave- it WILL be out soon too.
