they are the same compression height but the dome height is different. The CR should be 11.4:1

yes but the b16 rods are shoter by .104 so piston to deck would change correct?

In an LS, no it shouldn't! Both pistons are the same height, the only thing changing is the dome. The best way to be sure is to measure and be sure.

yeahls pistons are 1.181
b16 pistons are 1.181
ls rods are 5.394
b16 rods are 5.290

pistons are the same height, rods are different lengths, and domes are different...whats am i missing...im just a little confused lol.

Piston to deck height is also different cause the ls block is taller. But that isnt gonna matter when it comes to your compression. On a USDM (pr3) b16 piston your compression will be about 10.2/10.1:1, where as on a JDM (p30) b16 piston you will be lookin at 11.4:1. This will also be affected by what headgasket that you use.
