b16 rods and pistons in ls....what compression and displacement?????
my friend bent a rod in his ls, and he has a set of b16 pistons and b16 rods and was gnna throw them in....what would the specs be if he were to do that? thanx

Use Ls rods,they stronger and about $45, new LS rod bolts, new rings for b16 pistons compression should be 10:2:1 or 10:5:1 on the pistons(gain about 5whp) unless their JDM I believe its higher compression
cylinder walls are o.k.? Getting the block checked by a machine shop would be a good idea .....

Compression ratio would be 8.8 to 1.The rods are about .100" to short.The bottom of the piston will hit the crank counterweights anyway.Is this a Jersey thing? Some one from there has already been posting about this.
