Torque Specs for a few front brake assembly
Hi everyone, i need to know what to torque a few nuts in the front brake assembly for a 1993 Accord Sedan.
1. Lower Ball Joint Nut, one with carter key
2. and the bolt and nut that goes through the bottom of the strut
3. driveaxle nut on the axle
If anyone can post a page of a haynes manual or something that would be great, im had to put axles in for my friend, and i cant afford to buy a book for it.
thanks Rob

Here are the values for a 92 lx, think they are the same but use at your own risk.
lower ball joint castle nut with cotter pin - 40 lbs-ft
spindle nut ( axle nut ) - 181 lbs -ft ( should instal new one and remeber to stake the spindle nut shoulder when torqued)
as for the last one - I am assuming you mean the nut and bolt which hold the damper fork to the lower suspension arm ( damper fork is attacked to the bottm of the strut ) - 47 lbs - ft
cheers

The spindle nut sounds a little high? I know its 180 or so on the CRV's.
But on Civics, and Integras they are 134, im not sure, it may be correct.
If anyone else knows, please let me know.
Thanks rob
