95 cx civic HB, when i start my car the idle is fine but shortly after driving it has a ruff idle (jumps up and down from 800-1500) not sure if its a sensor because i dont get a check engine light. I cleaned out the throttle body...no help. When i shut the car off and restart it...problem goes away. Not sure what it is...suggestions?

you know what the same exact thing is happening to me in my 95 ex with b16a swap, but mine jumps from about 1100 to ...as low as it goes. Sometimes it will kill it but it just fluxuates between that, anyway i had a friend look at it and said that the idle control valve is going bad sooo that might be whats happening to you

 

check for vacum leaks and pullthe iac off its underthe trottle body it has a coolant hose and ahose coming off the valve cover when u get the iac off theres a plate with two phillips head screws take that cover off and id uwill seea spring looking the screw it back in the un screw them self just fix my iac two days ago it was doin the same thing
