This is the aftermath of somebodys beaks kit installation (this is an EK, but EG would do the same thing). Just use A-Spec Racing, or comptech braces...

Yeah, look into the subframe reinforcement kit from a-spec. It's hot!!!! Plus if you're getting that, you might as well as cash in for their 30mm sway bar

'reinforcement' kits like beaks don't work. They don't adequitely distribute the forces to prevent tear. The only way to prevent tear is to go with a sway / tie combo.
The only one I haven't seen anyone claim to tear the frame is the Comptech. I don't know if it's the design, or that not enough people have them to have one fail, but I've been running it for a year (with regular track use) with no problems.
