Default ACT clutches streetable?

I race everyweekend at the track.. Mostly for fun.

I have a b18c in a crx. I need a new clutch. Now i need it to be streetable for EVERYDAY driving, and hold up well at the track.

Is a Xtreme clutch kit with 6 puck disc streetable?

I know my leg will get a bit sore but i will get used to it.. So streetable or no??

TYIA

Edit: Oh yes.. It has to hold 10-12PSI as well

it is streetable if you get the sprung disk. the unsprung one will be a pain in traffic.

i totally agree...it just takes practice. i've driven a 4-puck unsprung with a hd pressure plate...not that bad at all.

just a thought, how about an exedy? they got a sprung clutch puck type. my boy runs it and likes it alot. ya might wanna check those out.

hope this helps.

I just put the 6 puck act clutch and matching 8lb flywheel in my crx. It's a great clutch. I havent driven too many other cars with heavy-duty clutches, but I didn't really notice a big difference in drivability... Except that it holds 20x better than my p.o.s. exedy clutch i used to have.

I have an ACT HD PP, 6 Puck Unsprung w/the Prolite Flywheel and it's takes some getting use too but in my sohc it makes it a rev happy little monster .

Good Day,
RH.
