I have the drag kit and like it alot. The only downside to it would be that boost kicks at about 4000rpm and full boost at around 5000rpm. We sohc people have to live with major turbo lag but top end pulls really hard. You should be able to run mid 14's with stock motor at 8psi.

so do you guys think that the greddy turbo kit will pull better thru the low end of the band then a drag?....i heard that greddy pulls thru out the band, but in the long run when u want more power, then it sucks.

The greddy kit will definitely give you better low end then the drag, but like you said, when you do decide to up the boost, the greedy turbo sucks. If you just want a little more power and on a budget, go with the greddy. If you have the funds, go with the drag. Boost gets Addicting

i have the greddy kit and it's great for the street cause the boost kicks in around 2900... but as mentioned, because it's a smaller turbo, the drag will make more power

brcivic411......it says you got a 98 blown civic....is it from the turbo kit? too much boosting?

i also heard that if u buy a drag kit for a sohc and decide to swap a b-series, u only have to change the manifold and your set. is this true?

Well if you're running mid 14's @8psi on a DRAG kit, and I'm running *traction limited* 14.2's @10psi with 100mph traps with my GReddy, how does mine suck

Yes hobo, you swap the mani for a B-series one and you're set, same turbo is used in both the D16 and B16 kits
