Default What is causing this?

Here is my problem, I have the stock 90 CR-X Si radiator. I have noticed that I have to keep filling up water and antifreeze in the radiator cuz it keeps on disappearing and it over heats. I could sometimes smell coolant while Iam driving. I have checked the hoses they are fine, I have checked for a blown head gasket no sign of water and oil mixture whatsoever, I have checked my thermostat and that is fine as well. I even checked the floor to see if there are any coolant leakage, but no the ground is dry and I don't see anything. SO what the **** is going on here I need help fast. TYIA

Check a little harder, try a leakdown test. Sounds like you have a headgasket problem. Overheating + losing coolant + smell it burning = headgasket.

look in the car on the floor. maybe a heater core? but sounda like a headgasket. also try a compression test.

Make sure its not a hose. check around after you drive it to see if you see any fluid. If the fluid is not leaking out of the hoses or the heater core, than theres only one other place it can go. Check for the milk shake on the dipstick.

Also a "cooling system pressure test.."
Most any radiator shop or decent mechanic shop should be able to do..

i had the same problem turns out the thermostat housing, that were it was leaking from, when it would leak it would dry up so fast because the header was warm because of the header, so there was no sign but i smelled it, check that too see if that works or radiator
