if you don't have your speedo cable in the speed sensor will it cause the fluid to spray up to the top of the engine? I did a swap broke the speedo cable went for a test drive & it threw a code for speed sensor. checked under the hood and oil on the back top mount and such, could it be i don't have my axle shaft in far enough or is it the fluid from the speed sensor. i looked but i haven't got under there yet any input would be a help. TIA 89 coupe

 

If your refering to fluid coming out of the transmission. Yes that can happen. Replace the sensor and your leak should go away unless its coming from somewhere else, like higher up on the block.
