Hi,

I was wondering if anyone here knows if there is a difference between the Legend caliper bracket from a 92' Legend coupe and that of a 95' Legend GS Sedan which most people upgrade to. Are they both 28T brackets?

Also, I am doing this upgrade on an 'S' model prelude and from what i've gathered looking on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com the caliper bracket is the same size on an 'S' model prelude as on the VTEC model. The brackets both appear to be 23T brackets... but they do have slightly different part numbers.

Would it be possible for me to use the stock 'S' bracket with the 95' Legend GS calipers? I would like to use the 23T bracket to avoid having to make a spacer since that seems unsafe.

using the 23t brackets will mean that you do not have to make a spacer.

I am using the Legend 2-pot calipers with the 28t calipers. Just keep an eye on the brake pads and you will be fine.

 

The S bracket isn't big enough to support the bigger Vtec rotor. You need to use the 23T bracket with the Vtec rotor or if you use the Legend rotor you need the 28 T bracket.

Thanks for your feedback, if the S bracket is the same 23T as the VTEC bracket shouldnt it support the vtec rotor as well?

the s braket is not the same as the vtec bracket. you will need the ledgend braket or the prelude vtec braket.

f those spacers.. im not runing one.

I have a set of 92' Legend Single Piston brackets... can anyone tell me if this is the same size as the 95' GS? Damnit, I hope so.
