I am swapping out my OBD2 F22B1 for an OBD1 F22b1 since my bottom end blew up last week and I need my car running ASAP. But I had a few questions what parts can I use from the OBD2 engine on the OBD1 engine. I ask this cause I think I want to use my intake manifold form my obd2 engine if I can. I already have the conversion harness for me to use the obd2- obd1 ecu so I am set there. Any help will be greatfull. I will have some pics up soon since the engine is already out.

 

its the same engine...if it came with an OBD1 harness and distributor and alternator then you can just plug the engine up to your harness that goes into the car. Use your OBD2 ECU.

If you didnt get the harness, Distributor or Alternator then you must u1se the ones from your OBD2 engine and still use the OBD2 ECU.

Its a direct replacement.
