i dont know for sure if its clutch chatter but its definitely some metal vibration/grinding sounds. i usually hear it whenever i step on the clutch to shift or when i'm going a little too slow for a certain gear. btw i have the ACT xtreme SS. i never noticed it until after i put on my turbo kit and have been runnin the car a little hard to test my turbo at ~7psi.

i dont think its bad synchros 'cause dont you just hear grinding whenever trying to put it into gear? just wondering if this particular clutch has some chatter to it and if its normal. it only started after the turbo. tia for any info.

after it's broken in it will chatter a little..

i have the clutchmaster stage 3 and it chatters a little... nothing to worry about... just kinda annoying in traffic... and stop and go....

 

I had a '95 LS, which I tore 3 trannies out of, after the first transmission I put the ACT Xtreme 6-puck unsprung clutch in. It had a whole lot of chatter when trying to slip it like a sprung hub clutch other than that it worked good. I have a '95 4dr. GSR now and just installed an ACT street and strip disc and Fidanza lightweight flywheel, the only chatter I get from that is slipping it a lot at low rpm, like parking.
