you would have to look at the lift and duration of your new cams to see if they are compatible with itr equipment. som, etimes they are if you dont go past stock redline; sometimes theyr not. ie spring rate, seat pressure, that sort of thing
NOTE >>> You should NOT take you LS/V passed 8500k rpms without a girdle. That being said, I'm positive that the BC3+'s would be a better match for your setup. Another recommendation would be B16 P30 oversize pistons instead of the CTR pistons you plan on using. There are a variety of reasons why but I like the small dome for more equal combustion and better in flow. That all ties into the rods modifications for fit CTR's and none modifications required for B16 P30 pistons too.
For BC3+'s the Type R springs are perfect because you dont really make power passed 8500k rpms and the Type R springs can definatly handle that. The real problem would be the retainer and even thats not a problem but more insurance in my book.
For the BC4's your definatly going to be making power passed 8500k rpms so I would invest in a entire valve train. I personally like Omnipower, RM and Portflow. Which ever you choose, theres no going wrong. KTELLER.COM has great deals on Omni and Rocket valve trains right now too.

rev limit is one of the playing factors in the valve springs that you choose.
it is not the same to rev a itr cam to 8500 than a bc3 to 8500..
you guys forget about lift and ramp of the cams.

Personally, I would use the ITRs with the BC3+. I would use RM's gen 1 springs and gen 2 retainers with BC4. However, since you are not sure which cam to use and you are only looking to rev to 8500, then I'd confide in Rocket himself. He could set you up with a mismatch between his gen 1 and 2 components to accommodate the best of both worlds, BC3+ & BC4 to an 8500rpm red line.
