shift points?

Default shift points?

i have a civic hacth with a d15. at what MPH should i shift? im a noob at 5sp. someone tell me!

not mph, but rpm. it depends on the driving you're doing. 1st and 2nd about 4k.

both.

and also i dont have rpm gauage thats why i asked for MPH. the previous owner did a 5sp swap.

According to my 1990 Civic CRX owner's manual, this is it:

Maximum allowable speed in the DX with out overrevving:

1st gear: 35 mph
2nd gear: 60 mph
3rd gear: 90 mph

For good economy:
shift to 2nd at 15 mph
shift to 3rd at 27 mph
shift to 4th at 39 mph
shift to 5th at 53 mph

Yeah they don't show engine speed, I don't know why...
