A/C, and P/S Removal
Guys i need help with getting these things removed... I have the ac fan and rad out, aswell as the ac compresser and the p/s unit... how do i get the piping out next?
it should be really easy just pull it out... it was so easy i dont even remember out to do it.... sorry. you have manual or looped stearing rack right?
did you get the dryer can out from behind the wheel well? if you arent going to sell your ac and lines just rip em out if you want to sell them be careful and dont bend them
Well what do u mean by manual steering rack? There is an automatic? And whats up with the power steering cable going to the firewall and inside the car? What the hell is up with that.... anyways how do i remove it =P

here is one of the write ups i found in the faq i think theres a few more though...
a manual rack is different from a ps one. cus fluids and what not. theres a lot more of information on this than i am aware. i took the easy way out by getting a cx so i never really bothered learning.

I dont want power steering i just really would like to remove the hoses and be done with... and whats the point and looping back the tubes? I mean almost all the fluid is drained
you still have the power stearing rack and if there isnt enough fluid it will fail. looping the tubes can stop it from breaking. the manual and power stearing racks are totally different. a stearing rack that dies while driving is bad news.
with the a/c you can just gut it and be done with it.
