Default CTR cam question(searched)

i searched and didnt find exactly what i was looking for so for those who put the ctr cams in ur gsr i have a question. ive looked at several websites that outline the install process but they all differ. so is it necessary that i reset the timing, and mess with teh t belt tensioner cause some list it and some dont. also i just got a valve adjustment in dec should i have it done after i put them in.

Swaping cams is going to require you to loosen up the tensionor and reset the belt. I would also do the valve lash again with the different cams.

Unless you are replacing the timing belt, it is not necessary to adjust the tensioner. When I installed my cams and valvesprings, I just slipped the cam with the gear attached back under the belt... positioned it, and put the cam caps back on. Has been working like a charm for like 20k.
