Default LSD costs?

about how much does a used Honda OEM LSD go for? don't suggest other options for LSD, just tell me how much i can get one for and where to get if from w/o getting screwed. also, is there any way a previous owner could f*** one of these up, and is there a way to tell w/o purchasing and installing it?

Dealership...brand new ITR lsd...can't go wrong. It will run you I believe somewhere in the $400 range or more. I haven't looked into it. It's easy to tell if a used one is messed up as far as the gears go. Just look for chips and grinds in the teeth. Also, buy it from a reputable seller.

It's not about power always, but traction while cornering. I want an LSD equipped tranny because I love to carve corners. A peg leg tranny doesn't corner quite as well as an LSD equipped tranny.

exactly. hondas don't go fast in a straight line. that's why when i put the LSD in and replace my 3.5-year-old clutch, i'll replace it with a stock one and a CrMy flywheel. drag racing is for RWDs with big engines or turbos (or both ).

Ah yes. I prefer the curves, no doubt. You go auto-xing or do HPDE's?
