Anyone have any tips on how to keep carbon fiber parts from fading or getting dull? do's and dont's? thanks

 

When I had a cf hood, I just waxed it at the same time I waxed my car, and it held up fine for years. The lip I never had an issue with fading, but only remember waxing it when I first put it on.

 

kool thanks...well this is my second cf lip but the first one got really dull after a while...i just washed it normally as i washed my car...never tryed waxing it...

no i wish i did so i could try it out to see the results...but i will definetley keep this in mind if my current lip starts to fade...thanks rodrezzle

 

yeah i do, it's called paint.

you paint it with clearcoat,that will do the job
