Default OBD0-OBD1 ecu swap

I plan on changing out my PR3 and replacing it with a P28. I read that I need to change out my OBD0 distributor with a OBD1 distributor. Why do I need to change distributors?

change the distributor, you need a 4-wire o2 sensor, and you need to rewire your ecu harness....but again, it depends on what setup you have and how you wired it up. i had a hell of a time trying to get my b16 changed from jdm obd0 to usdm obd1 (del sol vtec)...but i did it and i have a ref appointment on monday so hopefully, everything will be ok...btw...do you know anyone with a stock ef intake that i could borrow to ref? haha...just thought i'd give it a try...hit me back if you have any questions or you can also ask bossman032

I am picking a swap up where someone left it. I have a 90 CRX with DPFI!!! I know I have to convert to MPFI, but then I got the same questions as the others.......I have an OBD0 car, and an OBD1 LS motor. Which harness do I use on the motor OBD0 or OBD1???? He has bought a OBD0 to OBD1 conv. harness but it is still confusing.

If I use OBD0 harness on the engine how will all the sensors plug up????
I have done many swaps but I think I am in for it on this one.....

GOd you people are special it's not that hard to covert from 0bd0 to obd1 . For the guy whos doing the ls swap you need to get obd1 distributor with the wires and rewire the plug onto your harness. also you need the obd1 ecu if you want full power. you can buy a jumper harness from ob0 to obd1. OR you can save your self some money and just do it your self buy going to your local junkyard and go get some obd1 ecu clips from any 92-95 civic or 92-95 integra with the wires coming off the longer the better. Your going to have to either chop off you clips on you harness and rewire the obd1 clips or you can just tap into your existing clips and just plug in your obd1 clips into the ecu. Also like the other guy said you need a 4 wire o2 sensor which you can get from any 92-95 civic i think but im not sure OR from a 94-95 integra I AM 100% SURE OF THE INTERAS! use your obd0 harness for the swap you need the obd1 plugs. where plugs dont plug in on the obd0 harness you need to find out what it does and you need to find out, what that certain sensor on the motor does. Once you find that out you have to cut your plug in on your harness off and rewire the obd1 plug onto your harness and then plug it in on the motor. As for the DPFI to MPFI just get the digrams off of the internet. I hope this info helps you out let me know if so. My self i have 90 HF rex. cut all the clips off wired obd1 clips i have a gsr motor that is obd2 i had to convert that but putting obd1 dizzy and running it with obd1 gsr ecu.
